Artist Guides
Dates: August 5th - August 23rd, 9am - 5pm
Gala Performance: August 24th, 12pm - 10pm
Compensation: $3000.00
Responsibilities of Artist Guides:
• August 5-23 Monday to Friday attend 9:00 am opening circle and morning team meeting to review daily schedule and assign tasks (meditation, warm up)
• Communicate daily with Directors and Artist Guides re: their roles and ensuring music and art are running smoothly and on track
• Direct Youth guides and campers through exploration, and creation of scenes
• Attend closing circle daily to receive theatre notes and support with conflict transformation and other business
• Perform in final performances with youth and campers
• Support front of house with Promotional materials (quotes, blurbs)
• Communicate daily with Directors
• Support with Promotion of show-sharing materials and providing quotes etc.
Gala Performance: August 24th, 12pm - 10pm
Compensation: $3000.00

• Support in planning and implementation of team orientation
August (18 Days)
• Lead team of 2 Directors, 6 Artists, 12 youth guides and 30 children
• August 5th-24th Monday to Friday Lead 8:30 am opening circle and land acknowledgement
• Lead morning team meeting to review daily schedule and assign tasks (meditation, warm up)
• Communicate daily with Directors and Artist Guides re: their roles and ensuring music and art are running smoothly and on track

• Meet with Artistic Director, Theatre Director to develop curriculum based on theme.
• Plan activities for music portions of camp which run one hour every day
• Provide input Promotional/Resource Development materials and with Promotion
• Provide tech list of instruments or tech for week one of camp one week before camp
August (18 Days)
The Music Director is responsible for daily sessions with the campers to teach musical skills and develop musical numbers for the show based on the chosen theme. There will be at least one original opening and one closing song created with the cast of children and youth. The Music Director will also support the Director and Theatre Artists for any music and sound requirements for the scenes. Music Director will also participate in team orientation prior to camp dates TBD
