At the Annual General Meeting we will be gathering as a community while taking a look at the 2022-23 year. Lend your voice and have fun with other community members while we set a course for the future. Come meet the team, eat some good food, share your creative spirit, and join the community!

3pm - Seeding; singing to the seeds, tobacco teachings

Activities:
Planting Seeds: (3pm - 4pm) During planting seeds we will be sowing seeds with singing intentions for the year to come and giving tobacco seeds to take home.
Annual General Meeting: (5pm - 6pm) The Annual General Meeting will look over the 2022-23 year and plot a course for the future at CPT. *Please make sure to register if you would like to be a voting member* (To be eligible: past or present volunteers, past or present staff, past or present Council members, past or present program participants, grassroots leaders on our Platform, parents or guardians of program participants, and local land stewards)
Drum Bucket Workshop: (6pm - 6:45pm) Facilitated by Alonzo Moore see more here: https://www.rwcanada.com/
The drum bucket workshop is a fun and interactive way to teach participants basic drum rhythms. The facilitators, using buckets and background music, guide participants in holding a drum rhythm as a group.
Performance: (6:45pm - 7pm) Guest Performers: Mohsin Zaman and Danny Drums
Jam Session: (7pm - 8pm) After the performance Alonzo Moore will facilitate and host a jam session
Open Mic: (8pm+) There will be an open mic prepared for people who want to share their voice after the activities. The open mic will remain open until 10pm at the latest depending on participation.
