Confronting Myself

Within the safe confines of a theatrical and drama therapy process facilitated by specially trained professional artist, Mahmoud Ramezani, youth explore their own stories of trauma, loss, hardship, and what it means to them to live as a refugee. Guest speakers will also be invited to share and explore issues facing refugees in Canada and ways in which those issues can be addressed.

Theatre training sessions will take place weekly at Children’s Peace Theatre, and youth will be provided with TTC tokens and a nutritious dinner each week.
